Mad Day

My daughter started her third year of college on Monday. Time has come and gone so fast these past few years it’s crazy. Last night she had her first nursing class and it was madness. With nursing become so popular lately, a lot of people are either switching degrees or starting a new one. Anyway, there were over 65 people gathered for last night’s lecture

The teacher went bananas, so the head of the department came by and split  the class. Now she has around 25. Nursing is becoming one of the most popular and well paid careers, but you need to be born a nurse, I guess. The dedication, sacrifice, empathy and endurance to deal with the sick is not a money game. So many people go into the profession for the money and the patient is the one that pays. A nurse have to love what she does in order to be efficient. It is a beautiful profession with bitter sweet outcomes. Only the dedicated succeed in every aspect

I have talked to my daughter long and hard about this issue and she is certain of it. She will be a neonatal nurse, specializing on preemies. She loves kids (I don’t know where she gets it) and has the stamina to serve well. I wish her the best. Good speed darling!
