That’s the name of this exquisite concoction from Cold Stone Creamery. My daughter joined their Birthday Club so they emailed me a coupon for a FREE Signature Creation. This guilty pleasure is made with chocolate ice cream, chocolate chips, brownies and fudge. What a way to start my birthday. Outstanding!
I usually get up in the middle of the night to take a sip of water, so last night was no different. But instead of going back to bed, I turned the tv on Create, one of my new favorite channels, at the moment they were showing the art of Dale Chihuly, a Washington based glass artist. I have seen glass art before but not at this scale. I was “blown” away by the mastery and splendor of his craft. Amazing! There are no words to describe this art form, the danger involved and the team effort to create such beauty, so sit back and enjoy these beautiful, hand blown, glass artwork!

I have a new favorite. The Hungry Howie’s Three Cheese Pepperoni Bread. I’m not crazy about their pizzas but this bread is out of this world! And 10pieces for $5.99 is a great deal. Yummy!
I have to say, I have never used a moving company before so I was a little hesitant at first when it came to hire one for our moving to Florida. But since members of my family have used them before I decided to take a leap of faith and hire La Rosa Del Monte. When you are turning your personal belongings into the hands of strangers, you become anxious. That was unneccesary. The staff in Puerto Rico was very professional, corteous, knowledgable, friendly and on time. They marked the boxes with a personal color and numbered tags. I did my own packing which it’s a risk since the insurance does not cover when they don’t pack but we were working with a budget and them doing the packing was over our estimate. But they liked the way we packed, so I relaxed a little
The estimated time to arrive here in Florida was between 5-6 weeks, so I was greatly surprised when they called me 2 days after I got here to let me know they were coming the next day. They showed up around 9:00 in the morning, again very professional. Everything was in perfect condition, no broken or lost boxes nor any damaged goods
With the car, the same thing. While I was unpacking, I got the call, so the next day I went to the hub in Orlando to get it. Once again the staff was very nice. The car arrived in the same condition I left it back in the island. No scratches or dirt
So instead of 5-6 weeks, I got everything under 3. Nice! I have to give credit were is due. And the staff at LRDM deserve to be recognized for the way they treated me and my belongings. If you plan to move, look no further. They are outstanding!
Once again, no matter where I am, I find excellent deals @ Macy’s. This time I went to the Brandon Mall and found these kitchen goodies that I absolutely love. Both are originally priced at $39.99 each but I got the fry pan for $14.99 and the pressure cooker for $9.99. Outstanding!!
